All  martial arts methods of training and practice taught by Screenfighter Academy are derived from authentic and traditional martial arts practice. This provides all students with the benefit of learning skills that are valuable for film and self-defense!  Classes are geared toward beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, who are healthy and in relative good shape.  All potential students should consult a physician before beginning a strenuous workout program.  Our classes are conducted in a safe and nurturing environment by our world class Master Instructor, Marcus Salgado and assistant Master Instructors, Eric Perrodin, Joe Perez and Ernie Johnson.

Screenfighter Academy is where the "Screenfighter" develops his or her foundation. A "Screenfighter" is a performer, actor, or stunt person who specializes in effectively fighting for camera. At Screenfighter Academy, both novice and expert learn and practice the basics of various martial arts systems. In addition, students learn, picture fighting, falls, wire work, weapons and firearms training as an extension of the cinematic process.  Through martial tradition and dicipline, students learn to prepare themselves mentally and physically for the demands of being a technically skilled " Screenfighter".  This preparation, skill, and knowledge can be invaluable to all performers and entertainers vying for jobs in today's highly competitive action film market!
